” There are those who say fate is something beyond our command. That destiny is not our own, but I know better. Our fate lives within us, you only have to be brave enough to see it.” Day 3 of dystopian week!

We are on day 3 of dystopian week and we have for you today….. Matched by Allie Condie. This is the first book in its trilogy and unfortunately I haven’t had the chance to read the other…. but that is due to my ever growing to-be-read dystopian collection. At a current number of 80 books, I am constantly moving books up and down.
Cassia lives in a world where all of her decisions are made for her. She is told what to read, watch and believe. That’s how it has always been. So she listens. But one technological mistake changes the way she will see the world she has always known… forever! At Cassias matching ceremony, where it is decided for her, who she will marry and live happily ever after with, she sees something that makes her question every action she has ever performed, changing her fate indefinitely. Why is Cassia falling for someone else?
I think this is a great teen read but fits readers of all ages!
*Pros* unique character names take you out of the mundane character list.
